Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Security Access and Surveillance Systems: The successful Applicant(s) shall be responsible for the following systems that comprise the Airport’s Security Access and Surveillance Systems: i. The Airport’s Access Control System (“ACS”); ii. The Airport’s Security Surveillance Closed-Circuit Television (“CCTV”) System; iii. The Airport’s Access Control Alarm Monitoring System (“ACAMS”); iv. The Airport’s Baggage Screening System, including deployment of explosion detection system (“EDS”) technology; v. The Airport’s systems related to the Transportation Security Administration’s (“TSA”) checkpoint screening systems; vi. The Airport’s Intrusion Detection and Alarm systems design; and vii. The Airport’s DESFire EV2 smart card system and Honeywell Pro-Watch System. The Security Access and Surveillance System consists of two command centers that control over 1400 access control doors and intrusion detection alarms throughout the Airport. Currently, the Airport’s ACS supports equipment designed by Johnson Control, Inc. and Honeywell integrated into a Prowatch System. b. Terminal Announcement Control Systems (“TACS”): The PHL TACS system is a terminal-wide system comprised of 120 paging stations and over 120 speaker output zones, microphone stations, ambiant noise sensors, (4) announcement control systems, power amplifiers cardfiles, loudspeakers, associated circuiting, and system interfaces. The remote nodes are connected via an ethernet system using Cisco switches. The successful Applicant(s) shall provide Services for the Airport’s TACS, including specified head ends located in Terminal A West, A East, Terminal C, and Terminal F.
