Specifications include, but are not limited to: Additional EDI business objectives include: 1. Conduct batch and real-time transactions to send and receive all current version ASC X12N and National Council for Prescription Drug Programs (“NCPDP”) HIPAA transactions, including: a. Editing of all electronic transactions; b. Translator and integration mapping software; and c. EDI Dashboard portal. 2. Provide connectivity with Authorized Trading Partners to include, professional health care providers, hospitals, pharmacies, MCOs with agreements with the Commonwealth, and Value Added Networks (“VANs”) to send and receive electronic HIPAA transactions. 3. Route transactional data to the SI/DH system for use by other MMIS 2020 Platform modules requiring the EDI transactional data. 4. Conduct and facilitate the Department’s Authorized Trading Partner’s enrollment, testing, and certification processes, including both existing Authorized Trading Partners and future Authorized Trading Partners. 5. Prepare and maintain a HIPAA Companion Guide for Authorized Trading Partners and the Department. 6. Prepare the required EDI reports.
