Specifications include, but are not limited to: The CO2 Feed System equipment and services to be provided by the Supplier shall include the following: 1. Outdoor remote fill station, including the fill and vapor recovery connections (as required by Supplier), isolation valve(s), tank level display, stainless steel weather enclosure, task lighting and any other required appurtenances. Fill station may be free standing or mounted to the existing concrete wall. 120-volt power is available from the adjacent existing control panel. Supplier is responsible for installing any required circuit breakers, transformers or other electrical equipment to achieve the desired operation. Supplier shall connect to the Type 304 SS CO2 feed pipe using a 1-1/2” stainless steel flange. Supplier shall connect to the Type 304 SS CO2 vapor recovery pipe using a 1” stainless steel flange. To communicate with the feed system, Supplier shall make electrical connections to an aluminum junction box adjacent to the fill station containing three 2/C#16TPS cables. For details on interconnecting piping and electrical conduit, see attached Bidding Documents for the separate construction contract. 2. 14-ton vertical, cylindrical carbon steel CO2 storage tank. Maximum diameter for the storage tank shall be 8’-0”. Tank shall be installed on a reinforced concrete pad provided under the separate construction contract. 3. Chemical Feed System consisting of dual evaporators and associated control valves and appurtenances to provide redundancy. Each evaporator shall be capable of supplying an average of 500 lbs/day of CO2 and a maximum flow of 1500 lbs/day. A manual bypass arrangement with rotometer shall be provided for use in the event automatic control is lost. 4. Interconnecting stainless steel piping between equipment on the storage tank pad. See attached Bidding Documents for the separate construction contract for locations and sizes of connection points. 5. Automatic control valve to stop the flow of CO2 in the event of a malfunction. 6. Stainless steel control panel. Control panel shall include the following minimum capabilities: a. Automatically dose CO2 based on a 4-20mA signal provided by LCA. b. Manually dose CO2 by setting a feed rate (lbs/hr) at the control panel c. Signal to plant SCADA for tank level. d. Common malfunction alarm (malfunction, high pressure or low pressure) to plant SCADA. e. Digital display showing the current tank volume (%), current feed rate (lbs/hr) and pH reading. f. Furnish a fabricated stainless steel stand to mount control panel off the wall/corbel of the side of the building, as shown on the Bidding Documents for the separate construction contract. Face of control panel shall be flush with the face of the existing guardrail. The Work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Construction of a concrete pad and foundation to support the carbon dioxide storage tank and feed system equipment. 2. Interconnecting piping between the carbon dioxide fill station and the carbon dioxide feed system and between the carbon dioxide feed system and the carbon dioxide injection location. 3. Installation of a new concrete vault at the carbon dioxide injection location. 4. Installation of instrumentation, controls and associated small diameter piping work. Installation includes Owner-furnished equipment. 5. Associated power and control conduits and wiring installation. 6. Coordination with the Carbon Dioxide Feed System Supplier
