Specifications include, but are not limited to: To provide for emergency responses 24-hours a day, 365 days a year guaranteed response and remedial cleanup services by a responsible and certified oil and hazardous materials cleanup contractor. The Contractor will possess and provide expert services and quality materials when working on an authorized City of Pittsburgh project. The Contractor shall provide the required information for the cleanup of hazardous materials on both an emergency and non-emergency basis. In either case, the Contractor shall be required to adhere to the following guidelines and regulations set forth by the City of Pittsburgh. The Contractor must be capable of providing the following services: •Oil and hazardous chemical spill control and cleanup •Ground water pollution identification and removal •Tank Cleaning – both hazardous and non-hazardous •Testing and disposal of drummed materials •Tank testing, maintenance, repair, and tank removal •Pipe Cleaning •Waste site characterization •Vacuum truck services – pump outs: •Separators •Sumps, pits •Tanks •Ponds, lagoons •Explosive/reactive chemical handling: •Lab packs •Lab chemicals •Cylinders •Military ordnance •Shock sensitive material
