Specifications include, but are not limited to: a program designed to address and modify batterer’s behavior, and provide the batterer with new coping skills so that he/she may begin to change their violent behaviors. Presently this program is non-MA reimbursable. LCCYS/JPO are primarily nonvoluntary agencies and require court related intervention. It will be necessary to provide regular consultation with staff, be available and participate in staffings and when necessary provide court testimony. The successful applicant will be familiar with the PA standards set forth by the PA Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV), and to utilize the Duluth Model in their program. These standards ensure the safety of all family members and encourages collaboration between law enforcement, community agencies and the court to extinguish family violence.
