Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project includes the construction of a new pre-cast arch culvert over the unnamed tributary to Leibert Creek under 10th street in Emmaus Borough, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. The proposed pre-cast arch culvert will replace an existing eight foot (8’) high, twelve foot (12’) wide Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) culvert with concrete end walls, on North 10th Street, located in the Borough of Emmaus, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania. The existing culvert is approximately eighty feet (80’) long and has concrete wingwalls to channel a tributary of Leibert Creek, underneath North 10th Street. The tributary flows in an east to west direction. The western wingwalls have a thirty six inch (36”) CMP pipe (northwestern), and an eighteen inch (18”) CMP pipe (southwestern) out-letting through the wingwalls. Both western wingwalls are experiencing settlement causing the concrete to crack and separate from the CMP culvert and the wingwalls themselves. Based on visual observations, the eastern head wall and wingwall appear to be intact. The culvert location is surrounded by residential properties and grass fields to the north, and commercial properties to the south. The topography on each side of the culvert slopes moderately to steeply downward to the creek. Plate 1, included in the Appendix, shows the general location of the site on a topographic map of the area
