Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Ability to accept SIA and contact ID formats. • Accept a “24-Hour Test Signal” from all HACP systems. • Ability to report actual zones in alarm words associated with that zone to 911 and to the HACP answering service. • Ability to set up accounts in one day. • Allow HACP to set up accounts in house without dispatching representatives from monitoring service. • Ability to add or delete accounts (locations) as required. • There is no penalty for systems being taken office line due to downsizing. The monitoring company “is” responsible for its own redundancy in in case of power and/or data loss. Company shall provide ability to “backup” unprocessed signals and transmit them even if said power and/or data is compromised. Uninterrupted Power Supplies. All Hi-Rises have generators which direct emergency power to the Fire systems. Walk-ups do not. However, all fire systems and external dialers have long term battery “back-ups” in case of power loss.
