Service Requirements - Conduct listening sessions or focus groups with LGBTQ community members to assess attitudes, behaviors, and barriers related to tobacco and vaping. - Partner with LGBTQ nightlife venues, pride events, mutual aid groups, and affirming healthcare providers to gather qualitative insight. - Disseminate PA Quitline. General Requirements PDPH expects the following with respect to the successful Applicant’s organizational structure and personnel: • Demonstrated history of serving LGBTQ+ communities • Must have capacity to engage in diverse subgroups within the LGBTQ+ community • Must have experience or interest implementing health promotion, harm reduction, or public health education campaigns • Must be able to coordinate and participate in citywide events, meetings, and activities. • Applicant must be able to respond promptly to PDPH requests and provide all required reports and final documentation within established guidelines The successful applicant will be responsible for having and using the following technology capabilities and resources in performing the work: - Reliable internet access and secure digital communication tools to coordinate with PDPH. - Must maintain a website and social media presence capable of promoting campaign content and Quitline materials. - Must have the ability to host or participate in virtual meetings, workshops, and trainings. - Must ensure compliance with data privacy standards for any participant or referral information collected. - Must be able to collect and report data using Excel, Google Sheets, or other compatible platforms. - If conducting clinical optimization, must have access to electronic health record (EHR) systems or referral tracking tools.
