The City of Harrisburg is seeking proposals from qualified architectural firms to provide design services for the transformation of a large open-area bedroom into separate bunk areas. The current bunkroom features Murphy-style beds and small built-in lockers around the perimeter. The floor is carpeted and will be replaced with a non-slip, non-absorbent flooring system. The attached bathrooms, currently designed with a large open shower concept, will be renovated to include partitioned shower bays. The scope of work also includes the replacement of all plumbing fixtures, sinks, and countertops.
