Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Review previous evaluation report: In 2019 the City hired RH2 Engineering to evaluate standby power generation needs at several critical facilities within the City water distribution system. From this evaluation the City identified seven (7) critical water distribution sites needing standby power generation. The Consultant will review the report for these seven (7) locations and provide an independent evaluation and recommendation for standby power generation sizing needs. 2. Preliminary Design and Final Design: After review and recommendation of generator sizing needs, complete the preliminary design phase. Design will include the permanent installation of standby generation at the Water Treatment Plant, Reservoir Complex and five (5) portable generator connections at critical pump station facilities. It is the City intent to contract with a Consultant to complete the design and bid documents. The Consultant shall submit for review preliminary drawings at 60% and drawings and specifications at 95% phases of design.
