Specifications include, but are not limited to: All packaging and containers with Julian dates must be converted to the Gregorian Calendar (Western Calendar) dates. 4.9.3.1 All containers must be code dated with actual date of manufacture in a 5-digit sequence to include date, year, and batch number. 4.9.3.2 All packaging shall be FDA/USDA approved commercial containers, suitable for use by government entities. All packaging must be non-breakable containers. Glass containers of any type will not be accepted. Good packaging with metal of any kind will not be accepted unless otherwise indicated in the ITB. 4.9.3.3 Staples shall not be used as a final case closure. Case closures shall be accomplished by taping, strapping or gluing. All containers within the delivery unit of an individual Good must be of uniform size and weight. Containers and packaging with holes are not permitted. 4.9.3.4 Maximum allowable case or tote weight is 50 pounds, unless otherwise specified in this ITB. Catch Weight cases, as defined in Section 3.1, “Definitions”, WILL NOT be allowed, unless otherwise indicated in the ITB. 4.11.1 Good(s) MUST be Grade C or better as described in USDA Standards for Grades of Tomato Catsup 4.11.2 Good(s) to be unflavored and must be prepared from sound, mature red tomatoes 4.11.3 Good(s) shall be smooth and possess a consistency such that not more than a slight separation of free liquid occurs 4.11.4 ODOC will accept cans or pouches for this Good(s) 4.11.5 MUST be a minimum of 25% solids
