Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall furnish all permits, labor, materials, tools and equipment for electrical maintenance, repair and installation Supplies and Services from within the contracted service area (ODOT Region 1). Contractor shall have an office physically located within the Service Area in which all personnel and equipment are to be dispatched. All mileage fees shall be based upon this location. Contractor shall perform electrical services under this Price Agreement, such as minor alteration, ordinary repair or maintenance work including but not limited to the following: A. Work on high and low voltage power systems, transformers, switch gear, motor control centers, panel boards, safety switches, starters and transformers, motor and explosion proof controls, and exterior lighting,. B. Emergency repairs such as utility dig ups, installation of temporary power distribution, repairing/replacing damaged traffic signals and lighting poles, replacing traffic signal bulbs, and performing any electrical work described herein as needed in an emergency situation. C. Installation, repairs, removal or relocation of exterior electrical outlets, panels, switches, controls, power poles, lighting fixtures, ballast's, wiring, cabling, duct and conduit, etc. D. Installation, repairs or maintenance of pole bases, mast arms, spans/messengers, signal boards, electronic signs, traffic signal heads, highway lighting poles and conduit and wiring. E. Installation, repairs or maintenance of signal control cabinets, services, and other control devices such as vehicle detection equipment (loops, video, Radar, FLIR, etc.), pedestrian push buttons, electronic photo controls and other traffic signal and exterior highway lighting hardware as needed. F. Installation, repairs or maintenance of electrical gear, which includes circuit breakers, fused, control and disconnecting switches, AC/DC motors, switch gear, lighting control systems. G. Performance of re-lamping and de-lamping Services including energy audit/savings information. H. Performance of low voltage installation, repair and maintenance work. I. Monitor and test all loads prior to adding additional service to any distribution systems. J. Contractor shall indicate on all appropriate service panels the correct circuit identification or device and maintain all electrical panels per the highest industry standards. K. Contractor shall be required to maintain onsite documentation on "as built" plans (to be supplied by the Authorized Purchaser) showing the location of any new circuit, panel or service added within the scope of each project. L. Contractor shall supply flagging services and traffic control equipment necessary to perform the flagging services on request by the Authorized Purchaser. At its option, the Authorized Purchaser may provide for flagging services and traffic control equipment. M. Upon request provide cost estimates to Authorized Purchasers. N. Perform low voltage repair, maintenance, and functional device and systems testing of Intelligent Transportation systems including variable message signs, portable message signs, cameras, weather stations, ramp meters, weather warning systems, and highway advisory radios.
