Specifications include, but are not limited to: DIVISION 2, Existing Conditions This is an active Kitchen that prepares over 1,800 meals a day. The Kitchen will move its operation to another site during renovation. It is critical that an efficient timeline is established to ensure the Kitchen can return to normal operations at its current site as soon as possible. Disconnect and connect plumbing and electrical. Remove and store Kitchen Equipment during renovation. Replace Kitchen Equipment when finished. DIVISION 8, Doors/Windows There are three Interior doors, one walk-in cooler door, and one exterior door that may need to be adjusted to fit new height of the new floor. DIVISION 9, Interior Finishes The main kitchen area, approximately 2,000 square feet will need new flooring, FRP around the walls and new washable ceiling panel. Plumbing and electrical will need to be stubbed during renovation. Demo and remove/strip current floor. Floor leveling compound is needed to level floors and provide minor sloping effects from kettles to floor drains. The new floor should be a urethane/concrete non-slip, impact resistant floor that connects to the wall and extends up the wall 6” utilizing the same material with no seams. Replace approximately 50 4X8 FRP sheets with caps or other materials that will provide moisture resistance and the least amount of seams. Demo existing ceiling tiles and add approximately 210 new washable ceiling tiles. Demo and replace three standalone interior walls. Some areas in the interior walls may need to be repaired due to water damage. Drywall, mud and texture. Painting of the Kitchen, Breakroom and Offices. DIVISION 21, Fire Suppression Add Fire Alarm control panel and connect Ansul fire suppression to panel as required by fire code. Inspect sprinkler system. No repair is anticipated.
