Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected consultant (“Consultant”) will design the undercrossing and day use park facilities described above. Design of the undercrossing structure and associated retaining walls, approach trails, and highway improvements will be based on the development concepts for the tunnel alternative (Alternative 4) in the Ona Beach State Park Pedestrian Access Study (“Study”) prepared by KPFF, Inc. in 2012. A copy of the Study is provided as Attachment D (Ona Beach State Park Pedestrian Access Study).Design of the day use parking area will be based on the preliminary conceptual design provided as Attachment E (Proposed Day Use Facilities).Traffic impacts to Highway 101 from construction of the undercrossing must be reduced to the maximum extent possible. It is anticipated that the Project will impact several utilities in the vicinity of the proposed undercrossing, including underground communications facilities, overhead electrical lines and water facilities
