Specifications include, but are not limited to: All feeder conduits to be Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT), all feeder conductors to be Copper (CU), and all bussing to be CU, unless otherwise stated. Feeders between panel transformer-panel are allowed to be flexible conduit, if distance is 6’-0” or less. All equipment, material, and devices shall be new and direct from the original manufacturing. All equipment, new or existing, included in Scope of Work, shall be affixed with new labeling per PSU standards: Equipment labels (not end-line device labels) to be, at a minimum, 1” phenolic labels with white lettering (black background for normal source, red background for emergency source, and green back ground for Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) source). New end-line devices (receptacles, data outlets, occupancy sensors, annunciators, etc) shall be affixed with label per PSU approval. All new conduits, pull, and junction boxes will require labeling indicating source name, location, and load source name and location. Contractor shall provide submittals for all equipment, material, and devices for Engineer of Record’s review and approval prior to work beginning. Contractor shall provide all boxes (junction or pull), supports, mountings, and brackets as required per current adopted NFPA 70. Contractor will be required to provide any temporary stand-by power to support any critical loads during construction. Critical loads are defined as UPS loads or as stated by Owner Representative. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to review scope, intent, and existing field conditions prior to submitting a bid.
