Specifications include, but are not limited to: Work of the Project includes construction of security door control improvements for Central, County, and State Units A, B, and C at Oak Creek Youth Correctional Facility for the Oregon Youth Authority. The improvements include a new programmable logic controller (PLC), conversion from Genius Bus to PROFINET, and intercom improvements. 1. Phase 1 – Pull new network cable. a. Furnish and install new copper Ethernet outlets in the door control panel(s) for PROFINET, amplifier, and external laptop connection (typical of 10). b. Furnish and install new copper Ethernet outlets in the Central control room PLC panel for PLC, PROFINET, and external laptop connection. c. Furnish, install, and terminate copper Ethernet cable between door control panel and the existing Ethernet switch located at the terminal unit (typical of 8). d. Furnish, install, and terminate copper Ethernet cable between door control panel and the existing Ethernet switch located in the Central control room (typical of 11). e. Furnish, install, and terminate copper Ethernet cable between PLC panel and the existing Ethernet switch in the Central control room (typical of 2). f. Furnish and install 120V, 20Amp duplex receptacle in the door control panels for powering the new intercom amplifiers (typical of 8). g. Furnish and install CAT6 network cable between each low voltage room at each intercom station. Leave a service loop of 20’ coiled in the low voltage room for future termination at a network switch, location to be decided. (typical of 57). 2. Phase 2 – Install new components alongside existing equipment. a. Furnish and install new GE RX3i PLC with power supply and rack in the Central control room PLC panel.
