Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Meals will meet the Child & Adult Care Food Program regulatory meal pattern requirements 2.Provide breakfast for 100 participants; Provide lunch for a total of 100 participants, Provide snack for a total of 100 participants; available daily at 11:30 am Monday‐Friday 3.Meals will follow six (6) week cycle Sample Menu Plan provided by MHCC and complying with USDA regulations. Make substitutions of fresh, seasonal produce when available 4.Supply a monthly menu to MHCC by the middle of the prior month for MHCC to distribute to our classrooms and families 5.Provide off‐site storage, meal preparations, portioning items for family style serving into age appropriate (3‐4 year old) serving ware and wrapping the portioned items in cling film to transport to classrooms (equal servings in 3 separate containers per classroom per mealtime), as well as placing all necessary food items on the delivery carts and positioning carts in the hallway for MHCC staff to deliver 6.Provide a daily vendor receipt as required by CACFP to MHCC staff when they pick up the food for each meal, including serving instructions for the meal when needed for clarification, food temperatures etc. Sign the form upon delivery/receipt of each meal. 7.Supply condiments where appropriate in conjunction with the menu items. Storage will be in bulk when possible and not individual packets. MHCC will advise of any condiment requirements in advance.
