Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this program is to insure reliable and safe operation of the equipment, and facilitate the owner’s compliance with the maintenance, testing and inspection requirements of OSHA 1910.66 paragraph (g)(3) and (g)(5) requirements for pre-use/frequent and periodic maintenance, inspection and testing of such equipment. Preventative maintenance and inspection service calls will be scheduled throughout the year as needed to keep the equipment code compliant. Provide a visual structural inspection, inspection of the wire ropes and attachments, a complete operational check, testing of all safety limit switches and testing of the primary and secondary braking system. Preventative Maintenance work will include all cleaning, adjusting and lubrication per the manufacturer’s recommendation.
