Specifications include, but are not limited to: The University of Oregon on behalf, of its Rsch Material Science Institute (“University”), is issuing this RFQ for the procurement of an electromagnet, power supply and water chiller system to produce variable magnetic fields with a variety of air gap and pole cap configurations for a home-built magnetoresistance and Hall Effect measurement system; 1.1. The magnet must have an air gap of greater than 50 mm with a maximum field greater than 0.75 Tesla. 1.2. The field must have greater than 1% uniformity over 1 cubic centimeter in the middle of the gap. 1.3. A table of air gap, maximum fields and field uniformity for different pole gap configurations must be provided.
