Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Develop a project plan including timelines and milestones to complete and submit the deliverables described below. • Review the current project proposal development documents and processes and make recommendations about how to incorporate equity principles in our program development, review, evaluation and selection process. • Assess RDPO program activities regarding the principles of equity and inclusion, including collecting information (confidentially) about how member representatives and organizations perceive and define what equity and inclusion means to them and how it could or should be implemented in the RDPO Program Committee portfolio of responsibilities. • Advise on evidence-based best practices for the discipline of emergency management in the applying the principles of equity and inclusion. • Facilitate a conversation with committee members that presents and synthesizes the outputs of these activities and describes next step recommendations in applying equity concepts and tools (e.g., an equity lens) for the Program Committee’s portfolio of responsibilities and accountabilities.
