The Oregon Immunization Program (OIP) is a part of the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) located within the Public Health Division’s Center for Public Health Practice. OIP works to reduce the incidence of vaccine-preventable disease in Oregon. OIP staff identify and promote evidence-based public health best practices to both the public and private health care professionals throughout the state. OIP offers many programs, services and opportunities for our Oregon immunization partners such as the ALERT Immunization Information System (IIS), the Vaccines for Children Program (VFC), Immunization School Law Program, immunization quality improvement program (AFIX), research and evaluation and the Immunize Oregon Coalition.
