Specifications include, but are not limited to: As charged by HB 2444, the Agency is taking a critical step toward improving how Oregon provides funding to manage approved programs of study in agriculture, science and technology during the summer months between school years. Lack of Summer Duty Extended Contracts were identified as a barrier that prevented students from participating within Oregon FFA Association activities. The grant funding available through this RFA will expand the current level of services provided by school districts in the form of FFA Summer Duty Extended Contracts for licensed agriculture teachers. Each Grant is limited to 15 contract days for each Agriculture Science and Technology teacher submitting an application for the summer 2020 extended contract time. Funding is intended to remove barriers associated with any student that is enrolled within a state approve Agriculture Science Technology Program of Study from fully participating within the Oregon FFA Association activities.
