Specifications include, but are not limited to:The Oregon Medical Board (The Board) was established in 1889 and is responsible for licensure and regulation of the professions of medical doctor (MD), doctor of osteopathic medicine (DO), podiatric physician (DPM), physician assistant (PA), and licensed acupuncturist (LAc). The Board's purpose is public safety. Public protection is achieved through prevention, remediation, discipline, and ensuring the public is informed about their medical providers and Board processes. The Board operates in an atmosphere of constant change due to ongoing developments in the medical profession. The Board is seeking a Contractor to provide armed security services for scheduled meetings. The Contractor will be responsible for all the items outlined in the statement of work (attached) and will conduct themselves in a professional manner.
