Specifications include, but are not limited to: 5.1.1.1 All fixtures being retrofitted must have old tombstones, ballasts, extra wires and components removed. 5.1.1.2 All work is to meet current adopted code requirements including, but not limited to, using green grounding screws, and plenum rated wire. 5.1.1.3 Only appropriate sized wire nuts will be used to make new connections. 5.1.1.4 Contractor will provide and put down plastic protection over book stacks and all other delicate objects in work areas, along with high-visibility indicators to mark off the areas being worked in while in the book stacks. 5.1.1.5 Contractors are to wear high-visibility shirts with a company logo throughout the project. 5.1.1.6 Any deviations from the scope of work must be approved by OUHSC in advance of change or modification. 5.1.1.7 Upon project completion, contractor will provide OUHSC with as-builts detailing the location of each Powpak and any other significant changes in AutoCAD (Both hard copy and digital CAD file). 5.1.1.8 Provide additional minimum stock of five (5) custom 2 x 4 air troffer retrofits, ten (10) custom 1 x 4 air troffer retrofits, ten (10) T8 ballasts, ten (10) Philips InstaFit LED T8 lamps, ten (10) Lutron Pico switches, and ten (10) Lutron Powpaks. All Floors 5.1.2.1 New fixtures performance shall be a maximum of 30 watts for 2 x 4 fixtures and 16 watts for 1 x 4 fixtures, warmth 4000K, Industrial Lighting Products – Model ILP Lighting, and 1 x 4 and 2 x 4 LED – LANCE24-35WLED-UNIV-40-C004 (AIR HANDLING CUSTOM) or equivalent. 5.1.2.2 Retrofit is to be adapted to air troffer fixture or standard fixture, whichever exists. 5.1.2.3 Replace light switches and wireless switches that have on/off and dimming. Use Lutron Pico switches and Powpak. While most 2 x 4 and 1 x 4 fixtures are air troffer, some are not and will need the standard size retrofit fixture. Some entire fixtures may be required in some locations due to varying fixture sizes. The Contractor will field-verify. 5.1.2.4 Replace recessed lighting cans located in dry wall or ceiling tiles with Philips LED downard bulb using 4000K warmth. (Note: Various bulb cases exist; type to be field-verified by the Contractor).
