Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Edmond provides a comprehensive benefits package for all of its regular employees who work at least 30 regularly scheduled hours per week after 30 days of employment. This benefits package effective January 1, 2020 will consist of three self-funded medical plans, prescription, dental, vision coverage and medical and dependent care flexible spending plans. Additionally, the City provides basic life, AD&D and LTD for the aforementioned employees after 6 months of employment. For all active employees, the City contributes 100% of the Employee Only Premium for the ACO Plan. Employees can buy up to two PPO benefit plan options. Participation in health coverage is mandatory for all employees. For those electing Family coverage, the City contributes 75% of the Family premium. Retirees and their dependents on the plan prior to termination may continue their coverage on the City of Edmond health plan until the age of 65. However, they must pay 100% of the premium.
