Specifications include, but are not limited to: Kent State University Teleproductions Department requests quotations for a solution to replace our current video record and playback server along with instant replay for sporting events. This will be an entire replacement solution. The system should meet the follow minimum specification for use in a mobile production truck environment. Device must have the ability to record a minimum of 6 incoming sources, while playing out a minimum of 2 sources, all concurrently. • Device must have the ability to operate individual input and output channel control when not in replay mode. (i.e. must be able to record on a single record channel or play back on a single channel) • Device must include a replay controller with touch screen interface, jog wheel and “T” handle. • Device should be capable of transcoding standard video files into and out of the devices standard file format. (IE importing and exporting H.264, and QuickTime Pro Res files) • Device must be capable of recording and playing back 4 channels of audio per record channel via AES or embed into the HD SDI video stream. • Device must have a minimum of 60hrs of record time in the units native file format. • Device should be capable of at least 1080i/720p switchable. • Ability to use touch screen computer monitors for things like logging, and channel control when not in replay mode. • Unit should have the ability for split screen functions. • Ability to easily zoom in on a video for enhanced production. • Ability to select from predefined keywords for logging of clips, and a bin structure for clip organization. • Ability to scrub on outputs and inputs in sync with each other. • User Interface must have the ability to show live video inputs and outputs in a Multiview like configuration;
