Specifications include, but are not limited to: This task shall consist of outreach efforts developed by the selected consultant. As a benefit to being certified in the Business Opportunity Program the selected consultant would develop outreach events to educate certified firms. Services required under this task include: • Designing, organizing, and conducting multiple outreach efforts to include targeted matchmakers, outreach to local minority interest groups, business associations, trade associations, unions, small business membership organizations, government agencies, etc. • Contacting local small, minority- and female-owned businesses using the NEORSD database, City of Cleveland database, Cuyahoga County database, and CMHA database. Developing the process to evaluate small businesses based on predetermined objective criteria to include active participation in outreach events • Developing stronger working relationships with local and national minority business development agencies, such as GCP/COSE, OMSDC, CAAO, Hispanic Business Association, Presidents Council, Cleveland MBDA, Cleveland Urban League, Small Business Development Agencies, and Minority Business Assistance Centers throughout Ohio • Regularly attending and participating in public-political, faith-based, and community-based functions/meetings on behalf of NEORSD to promote inclusion efforts
