Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) has requested the Department of Administrative Services to solicit competitive sealed proposals (“Proposals”) to implement a Cloud-based COTS solution for a new centralized newborn screening system. • Implementation of a centralized web-based data system for the iNBS program users. The system must enable data entry, monitoring and routing of records, reporting, and communicating between all involved parties via standardized common data sets and functionality. The implemented solution must be able to accommodate the addition of future functions and features for ODH programs which are not accomplished within all phases. • Development and implementation of a solution that allows for internal Workflow routing for the laboratory/CCHD/hearing/case management systems and users. • Development and implementation of a solution that can interface with IPHIS (Birth Certificate/Vital Statistics/Birth Automation Tables), an existing software system currently used in ODH. This interface must provide the capability for specific data to be transmitted (uploaded) directly into the appropriate entities within the iNBS solution on a regular schedule. • Implementation of an iNBS solution that houses newborn data for 21 years, which can be queried, viewed and put into local, regional and statewide reports.
