Specifications include, but are not limited to: ▪ Build the “Middle/High School portion” (Segment One) of a new K-12 (plus Career Tech) school. The overall total K-12 building is to be approximately 196,381 sf for 1,561 students; however only the Middle/High School portion (for 870 grade 6-12 students) of approximately 106,643 sf. is to be fully designed and constructed. Total co-funded budget for this segmented portion is approximately $27.1M, not including LFIs. ▪ Anticipated LFI projects: parking lot repaving approximately $500,000. ▪ Project scope includes Abatement & Demolition of the existing South Amherst Middle school (located at 152 West Main Street, South Amherst, Ohio 44001) with a total co-funded budget of approx. $0.8M. ▪ The new school is to be built on the site of the existing High School and the students will remain in the existing schools until the new school is completed. ▪ A separate early site package GMP is anticipated with a start of Fall 2020. ▪ This project will follow LEED v4 criteria. ▪ It is anticipated that the district will opt out of providing a Storm Shelter per the latest OBBC requirements.
