Specifications include, but are not limited to: Columbus City Schools is seeking proposals from qualified companies to provide health and benefits consulting services. The goal is to select the most capable and competitive partners in the area of group insurance consulting services. The focus of this RFQu is, and your response shall be, related to consulting in addition to reviewing and assessing practices in the following areas: 1. Health and Benefits Plans 2. Section 125 plans 3. Affordable Care Act 4. Financial analysis, record keeping and reporting 5. Actuarial Services 6. Legal compliance in the health and benefits arena 7. Development and analysis of RFP’s (requests for proposal) for benefit vendors The successful candidate will be responsible for the guidance of the joint insurance committee relative to the Requests for Proposals (RFP) development and management, actuarial analysis, and financial performance. Committee meeting attendance and reporting will be required at least quarterly. Responsibilities are enumerated below: 1. Conduct annual strategic planning meetings to establish goals, priorities, and identify areas of concern. 2. Develop and analyze Request for Proposals (RFPs) and to assist CCS in the selection of vendors for the following benefit programs (triennial awards): 1. Medical (01/15) 2. Pharmacy (01/15) 3. Vision (01/15) 4. Life and Supplemental (01/15) 5. FSA (01/15) 6. Dental (01/18) 7. Voluntary Benefits (Open) 8. Interactive Health Management/Wellness 9. Data Management 10. Stop Loss (none currently)
