Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Columbus Regional Airport Authority (CRAA), Columbus, Ohio is soliciting Statements of Qualifications until 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 27, 2020, from firms interested in and qualified to provide Professional Design Services for Taxiway F (Foxtrot) and H (Hotel) Rehabilitation at John Glenn Columbus International Airport. The services may include, but are not limited to, the following: Pavement Coring, Geo-technical investigation, topographical surveys, and non-destructive testing (NDT) investigations. Survey data collection and submittal to FAA in accordance with FAA Advisory Circulars 150/5300-16B and 150/5300-18B. Design of new, and repairs of, asphalt pavement in conformance with FAA standards Preparation of safety/phasing plans and maintenance of traffic in accordance with FAA standards. Preparation of material specifications in accordance with FAA standards. Design of new, and repairs of, runway and/or taxiway edge light systems and airfield guidance signs in accordance with FAA standards. Services in accordance with FAA Order 8000.369B, Safety Management System (SMS). Various levels of cost estimating and scheduling. Project scheduling using Primavera P6. Project management using Primavera Contract Management. Site work design (storm drainage, grading, etc.) and storm water analysis in accordance with FAA, City of Columbus standards. Life Cycle Analysis. Airspace analysis, Construction Safety and Phasing Plans (CSPP), and any associated FAA submittals. Meeting coordination and attendance. Necessary outside agency (city, state, federal) coordination. Development of construction documents and specifications per FAA standards. Assistance with bidding/bid process management. A/E Services during construction, including inspection/observation during construction, surveying, and acceptance materials testing. Other related activities.
