SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: 1 Remove the building and foundation to a minimum of two (2) feet below final grade. 2 Remove the yard walks and steps. 3 Back fill the basement with clean earth or rubble fill. Spread an average of six (6") inches of clean earth over the rubble fill. 4 Grade the lot to conform to existing contours, unless otherwise specified. 5 Close opening in wall at steps with stone set in mortar. Provide weep holes at base and back fill with gravel. 6 Remove steps from the public sidewalk, repair walk in accordance with specifications of the City Engineer. (Seperate permit is required by the Engineering Division.) 7 Take down and remove the garage/accessory building. 8 Take necessary steps to protect the adjoining property. 9 Grade variations in excess of 48" must be reduced accordingly or protected by a 4' high chain link fence. 10 Remove driveway and drive apron. Repair curb and sidewalk in accordance with Department of Transportation and Engineering requirements. (Separate permit, inspection and approval from DOTE is required.)
