Specifications include, but are not limited to: Systems requiring seasonal water testing and chemical treatment: > Six Hot Water Boilers- Kosar and Moritz Utility Buildings (September through May) » Two Steam Boilers- LaVelle Building (September through May) » Two Cooling Towers- Kosar and Moritz Buildings (April through November) » Two Water Softeners- Kosar and LaVelle (year round) » Two Chiller Water Closed Looped Systems- Kosar and Moritz Buildings (April through November) • Vendor must be able to provide a self-contained portable mobile engineering center when required for onsite water analysis of "deposits, corrosion, bio-failing ATP (adenosine triphosphate) testing" for biological activity • Monthly between April and November on each cooling tower procure and analyze one (1) one water sample per cooling tower for Legionella. Analyses to be perform by accredited laboratory. • Monthly Legionella Testing in Moritz, Kosar, and Lavelle Buildings; the vendor shall be responsible for procuring and analysis of four (4) water samples in locations identified by TVBH monthly. Analyses to be perform by accredited laboratory. • Monthly check of chemical levels in boilers and cooling towers. When the boilers are shut down at the end of the heating season, the pH of the water will be raised to between 10.5- 11.0. Water will be tested twice in the off-season (June and August) to ensure the pH, corrosion inhibitor and biocide levels are being maintained. • Vendor to check water treatment and testing logs completed and provided by TVBH staff. • If chemicals or reagents are required, vendor shall provide a recommendation and a cost for chemicals. TVBH reserves the option of purchasing from this vendor or from another vendor. • Vendor shall submit report format to TVBH for review and approval before implementation. The approved report shall be submitted monthly.
