Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor will remove all existing roofing materials and flashing, down to the roof boards, on cabins 1 through 14 and collect & dispose of all debris. This applies to all segments of the roof, main roof, porch roof, deck roof or other roof section as applicable on “that” cabin. a. Dumpster location will be defined during pre-con meeting. b. Dumpster should not impede the flow of through traffic on the main roadway. Contractor work schedule will need to be provided in advance so that the Parks Facility may schedule around planned installation dates. Contractor will upon completion of all 14 roofs, perform a full sweep of the work are to ensure the clean up of all construction debris. As these cabins utilized by the general public, please put a focus on collecting all loose nails and scrap metal to avoid any potential injuries. Contractor will measure and procure all material needed to install 14 new cabin roofs. (Roofs include but are not limited to, main roof, porch roof, deck or patio roof or other roof surface on said cabin.) Contractor will provide a by roof, itemized estimate for new roof installation. Contractor will flash and seal all roof penetrations and install step flashing around chimneys and at all roof to wall joints. Contractor will use ice guard at gutters and in valley areas. Contractor will utilize metal in valley (no shingle overlap). Flashing & valley metal will be matched to the shingle color.
