Specifications include, but are not limited to: Option 1: Provide one (1) air-cooled Solid State VHF Channel 6 Digital Television (DTV) transmission system. The system shall include all hardware, software, and ancillary components required to produce an ATSC 1.0 RF modulated broadcast signal. The system shall operate on VHF Band 1 Channel 6 (82-88 MHz) with a bandwidth of 6MHz. The system shall be capable of producing a sustained post-filter Transmitter Output Power (TPO) of 1.25kW. The system must provide AC power transformation equipment (transformer) to connect the existing 208Vac supply to the proposed transmitter if required. The system must provide all required RF components including, but not limited to, mask filters and connection equipment to connect to new 3-inch 50-ohm transmission line. The system must provide two (2) active ATSC 1.0 Exciters with automatic failover. The exciters must be upgradable to ATSC 3.0. Vendors should include optional pricing for ATSC 3.0 upgrade. The system shall accept a SMPTE 310/ASI/IP input transport stream. The system shall include a station load for full power testing of the new transmitter. The system must provide all required RF components including, but not limited to, mask filters, and connection equipment to connect to new 3-inch 75-ohm transmission line.
