Specifications include, but are not limited to: This is a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (RFP) under Section 125.071 of the Ohio Revised Code (ORC) and Section 123:5-1-08 of the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC). The Department of Administrative Services (DAS), Office of Procurement Services (OPS), on behalf of the Ohio Department of Children and Youth (KID) and the Ohio Department of Health (ODH), is soliciting competitive sealed proposals (Proposals) for Ohio Alliance on Innovation in Maternal Health Care (AIM) for Pregnant and Postpartum Women with Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and this RFP is the result of that request. The purpose of this Project is to implement actionable, evidence-based initiatives on a statewide level that directly address findings from the PAMR review process. The initiatives must be evidence-based and are achievable through QI science initiatives. The activities should achieve widespread adoption of patient safety bundles and policies by maternity hospitals that reflect the highest standards of care with the project goal of achieving a reduction in maternal complications and preventable deaths related to pregnancy. I. By June 30, 2024, develop a plan to implement AIM Patient Safety Bundle throughout maternity hospitals in Ohio with a focus on equity. II. By September 29, 2024, recruit maternity hospitals for implementation of AIM Patient Safety Bundle and complete all necessary administrative and evaluation components of curriculum. The program shall roll-out in waves (Waves or Waves) as described below. III. Kick off Wave One beginning October 1, 2024, and ending September 29, 2025. Wave One will implement an AIM Patient Safety Bundle to all recruited delivery maternity hospitals, monitor progress, and regularly report status to the Agency. IV. Kick off Wave Two beginning October 1, 2025, and ending September 29, 2026. Wave Two will implement and spread AIM Patient Safety Bundle to all recruited delivery maternity hospitals, monitor progress, and regularly report status to the Agency. V. Kick off Wave Three beginning October 1, 2026, and ending September 29, 2027. Wave Three will implement and spread AIM Patient Safety Bundle to all recruited delivery maternity hospitals, monitor progress, and regularly report status to the Agency. VI. By September 29, 2028, establish AIM Patient Safety Bundle sustainability plan, data analysis and data dissemination.
