Specifications include, but are not limited to: Gateway Feature General Requirements:1.At a minimum, the feature will encompass 2 symmetrical, supporting columns on each side of E. Mulberry St. near N. Broadway Ave. as shown on the plan.2.It is envisioned that each column will consist of a stone base, with architectural powder coated metal extending from the stone base to the top of the feature. The architectural metal may, or may not, extend over E. Mulberry St. creating an arch.3.Lettering identifying at a minimum the street name should be included on the architectural metal feature.4.It is anticipated that the stone bases of the columns will be engraved with lettering and/orimages that tie into the general streetscape. The contractor will assist with identifying potential artwork, etc. that can be incorporated onto the bases.5.The gateway feature should incorporate programmable LED lighting to accent the structures.6.It is anticipated that the total height of each gateway feature will be 13’ – 15’ tall.7.A mounting system will need to be incorporated into the features. However, the City would like to maintain the ability to move the features if every necessary.8.The contractor will generate a concept plan and design that will be approved by the City prior to commencing manufacturing of the structures.
