Specifications include, but are not limited to: STATE intends to purchase a developed program ready for implementation within North Dakota workplaces, with the goal to change how people think about the disease of addiction – named, “Just Five”. STATE intends to purchase the implementation of this program in North Dakota for a total of $15,000 for one year (January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020). The program focuses on increasing awareness, reducing stigma, and sharing information about addiction prevention and treatment, including a minimum of six separate online, self-paced lessons. Lessons combine animated and expert videos, interactive learning, and supplemental materials. This program has an ability to deliver content that is research-based regarding addiction in a manner that follows adult education best practices. Content is available for employers to decide a roll-out to their employees in order to maximize utilization. STATE intends to purchase this program to be available for all ND state government employees and for a limited number of private agencies (up to 30 regardless of number of employees). The program will include two separate website platforms that are mobile-friendly.
