Specifications include, but are not limited to: ● Procurement of all equipment needed for the installation of Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) units including communication cables, antennas and power. ● Procure data for FCC Licenses for each DSRC unit such as Lat./Long and serial numbers ● Procure (6) six On Board Units (OBU) including all necessary hardware (cabling, mounting brackets, Global Positioning System (GPS) antennas, Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) antenna, Driver Display Unit, communication and power connectors, etc. – vehicle ready. ● Use DSRC Multi-Channel Test Tools (MCTT) with Diagnostic Software or equivalent device for DSRC message detection. ● Provide equipment that is interoperable with Intelight 2070LC Controllers and Intelight 1C Modules. ● Creation of Phase to Lane Mapping (PTLM) assignments for each intersection including the creation of maps needed for the transmission and receiving of all Basic Safety Messages (BSMs), MAP Messages and Signal Phasing and Timing (SPaT) messages. ● ATSPM’s and DSRC messages shall be transmitted to KYTC servers and accessed via web address. This will require collaboration with KYTC ITS Staff. ● Creation of Phase to Lane Mapping (PTLM) assignments needed for the ATSPM integration. ● Delivery of ATSPM data to designated servers and in a reportable format for KYTC staff to review with the FHWA Open Source software. ● Understand that communications will be via wireless, cellular routers. No fiber communication will be present.
