Specifications include, but are not limited to: Purchasing Agency intends to purchase 30 forensic, electronic identification scanners for the detection of fake IDs. This request is being made for ID scanners to include all components and software to ensure it is a standalone system which can be transported and easily set up at remote locations and events. Each forensic scanner must: Be a standalone system which can be used with or without being attached to a computer; Be able to scan and analyze IDs from all 50 states, military, and Canada; Specifically analyze and conduct a forensic check of the front and back of IDs for authentic security features to detect fraudulent IDs which shall include ultraviolet and infrared images, microprint, laser perforation, holograms, and other ID-specific security features; Be the latest/most recent model/version of software and hardware; Come with all hardware needed to operate (cords/cables/batteries/scanners/tablets/stands) in a compact and transportable system; Come with a stand/case to protect and house the unit; Have a colored touchscreen; Include all the software needed to conduct the analysis of each ID; Read IDs in English; Scan and read magstripe, 1D and 2D barcodes; Scan IDs quickly and efficiently for age, expiration, and legitimacy; Have a greater than 90% accuracy rate for detecting fake/false IDs; Display easy to read results (screen and/or age); Display easy to read results of the ID analysis and alert staff when IDs appear to be fake/false;
