Specifications include, but are not limited to: Base equipment and operating systems Reuse of existing register workstations, receipt printers, cash drawers, customer displays. Upgrade the operating system to Windows 10 from Win 8.1, NDSU will license operating system under a Multi-Access Key Workstations will be Active Directory joined and managed as part of the NDSU Dining IT Organizational Unit. NDSU is planning to do most of this effort. The workstations in our implementation reside on a public accessible network and will need to be secured. We are open to solutions such as Native IPSEC or a ZTNA solution. Credit Card Existing Ingenico credit card readers will be used. System will utilize existing FreedomPay P2PE arrangements including all Merchant Ids. System will accept all payment methods of our current system. Integrations The 5 workstations that are at the entrance to the three Dining Centers will support the current Educational Technology BioConnect software implementation. All registers will integrate with NDSU’s CS GOLD campus card implementation for meal plans and/or stored value credit plans. A probably future integration will be allowing sales to flow into our system from Cbord’s GET FOOD platform. This integration is not in scope of this project but needs to be supported in future.
