Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide protocol independent transport on a common carriage basisincluding traversing public right-of- ways to make service delivery. Supplier utilizes all technologically current transport modalities including the extensive use of fiber optic layer one and two elements and resources to meet the service quality and capacity objectives of its customers. Supplier may have to make infrastructure and equipment changes asit deems necessary or appropriate to meet service objectives within its network. All ratified ITU, IEEE and IETF RFC protocols required are supported in the Supplier network for E-Rate eligible service delivery. Supplier endorses the use of PPP as an efficient transport protocol at layer two for Ethernet service delivery specific to TCP/IP over Point to Point links and RPR (Resilient Packet Ring) and EAPS (Ethernet Automatic Protection Switching) protocol on protected core ring architectures over wireless, copper orfiber facilities.
