Specifications include, but are not limited to: Foster Grandparent riders will be transported between their homes and their volunteer stations 5 days per week. Foster Grandparent riders will also travel to and from a different destination. The number of transports may vary from month to month depending on the needs of the Foster Grandparent Program. Foster Grandparent riders are senior adults; a few riders require assistive devices to aid mobility. It is expected that Foster Grandparent riders will be picked up and dropped off at scheduled times; drop-offs will be as close to the entrance of the destination building as possible. Each transportation vehicle must meet all state and federal requirements. Vehicles are to be clean and safe; a smoke free environments is required during transport. Provide transportation services, specifically the picking up to 30 senior volunteers at various designated sites and transporting these seniors to the destinations set forth in the Foster Grandparent transportation schedules identified as Appendices A attached and incorporated here unto fully by reference. The Contractor will provide such services as further set forth in its proposal submitted to the City. The Contractor is expected to provide transportation services every day the City is in operation.
