Specifications include, but are not limited to: The successful respondents shall provide land surveying services and/or utility location services for projects initiated by the Airport. They shall conduct general land survey tasks in accordance with industry accepted standards and practices as well as the requirements of the airport and the Federal Aviation Administration. Survey work efforts may be for obtaining information for site development plans, boundary surveys for land acquisition, environmental assessments and capital project construction sites. Utility Location services may be of an urgent nature to determine precise locations and depths of suspected buried utilities. The successful respondents shall also provide field data on reproducible media and on electronic file in a format compatible with the latest version of AutoCAD, or the version used by the Airport, and one copy of field notes or data collector information. The selected firms will use their own equipment, materials, supplies, accessories, office space, etc. to perform the required work. Survey personnel and equipment will be furnished as a 2, 3 or 4 person survey crew on a full-, half-day, or hourly basis. Crew members must be eligible for an unrestricted Airport Badge. Work may be needed on a quick turn-around basis. Work may also be needed during the overnight hours to minimize impact on airfield operations. The Airport will pay the surveyor based on negotiated rates per the Proposers submitted fee structure. Surveys may include but not limited to: • Horizontal and vertical site control analysis • Topographic surveys • Cross-section and profile survey • Location and as-built surveys • Record plat and easement plat preparation • Construction layout and cut sheet preparation • Preparation of Plats of Revision for easements • Digital terrain modeling • Aerial mapping • Right-of-way acquisition • Construction surveying • Subdivision plats • Plan and profile surveys • Provide legal boundary surveys • Provide construction staking • Provide legal descriptions of any right-of-way or easements • Miscellaneous surveying services as required by the Airport. Utility Location services may include but not limited to: • Soft digs • Applied Signal location • Record searches
