Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Durham desires a Smart Building Pilot of the General Services building at 2011 Fay Street. This pilot would then be evaluated for implementation at other buildings. Additionally, Energy Management software and a dashboard to facilitate utility use tracking at an additional 50 of the City – owned facilities are desired. Our ultimate goal is to obtain Analytics, Dashboard and Alerts to help GSD leverage new and existing data sources for optimized facility management and project prioritization. A non-proprietary system is preferred. The City is soliciting a person or firm to provide two main components, a Smart Building Pilot, and Energy Management Software. Proposed solutions for the City are welcomed which may be based on existing software solutions. 41. The Smart Building Pilot features: The Smart Building Pilot proposal should include additional sensors or meters to gather data and for predictive maintenance reports. These sensors should measure items such as temperature, relative humidity and occupancy for key rooms. Trends could be displayed and data could be exported as needed. Data should also be pulled from the existing BAS system. It is desired that alarms for temperatures out of range or other pertinent data anomalies would be provided. A “check engine light” could be included as a notification for Preventative Maintenance / predictive maintenance alerts. Preventative Maintenance data would ideally be pulled from the existing FacilityDude system. The Smart Building Pilot would also include the EM software features listed below: 42. The Energy Management software features: An energy management dashboard is desired that can be used for 50 of our buildings without the need to have additional sensors added. The ideal system would have pre-configured out-of-the-box analytics / reports and customizable dashboards for varied audiences that are right-sized and scalable, as well as simple and easy to use and understand. The ability to use the dashboard on mobile devices would be a plus.
