Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this project is to implement Oracle’s Customer to Meter (2.7.x) solution using a Platform as a Service (PaaS) model. Vendors will be responsible for upgrading and preparing existing applications/integrations for this transition The overall goal of the project is to implement Out of the Box functionality as much as possible and take advantage of new/enhanced functionality that will bring PWC to utility best practice for the processes that are currently being performed. In October 2019, PWC conducted a detailed assessment which reviewed several process function areas within CC&B, MDM, MWM and WAM which identified over 100 customizations in CC&B. This analysis will be shared with the selected vendor and should be used in part as the foundation for the C2M upgrade project. At a minimum, the proposed scope must include the following components: Project Details Functional Implementation Using the aforementioned assessment as a baseline and detailed discussion with PWC, determine the requirements to implement C2M and leverage the enhanced functionality, as well as, influence industry best practice for PWC business units. Technical upgrade Identify any possible conflicts/enhancements required for the upgrade and to set benchmarks for post-upgrade performance targets. Review and determine compatibility of interfaces, customizations, extensions, and databases. Currently PWC uses PIP (integration pack) for integration to MDM, however C2M should include the Installation of Service Order Management (SOM) and Advanced Metering and should be included in the proposal. NOTE- PWC has already secured the licensing for Advanced Metering. Integration Review SOA integrations between systems (e.g., WAM, EBS, MWM, MDM, RNI, OMS, ePortal, and BIP) and identify all changes required for the upgrade.
