Specifications include, but are not limited to: In order to ensure graduate assistants receive the proper training in coaching technique, UNC Greensboro seeks a vendor to design and deliver a training curriculum for this program. The training curriculum should: 1. Be based in sound coaching technique (such as the International Coaching Federation training curriculum) 2. Be specialized to higher education and include elements of student development theory and practice 3. Be capable of delivering training over the course of a week 4. If possible, provide the opportunity for some level of credentialing through ICF or other credible organization for graduate assistants participating in the program 5. Training should recognize that graduate assistants may not be delivering all of the support services students require and should focus on the kinds of professional coaching conversations, scenarios, and strategies that are appropriate with guidance for handing students off to applicable resources when warranted 6. Training should incorporate a train-the-trainer methodology to ensure the University is able to train future coaches
