Specifications include, but are not limited to: Professional services to assist the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) Office in planning a modernized Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for the State's fifty-eight (58) Community Colleges and the System Office. These services include but are not limited to assisting NCCCS with understanding best business practices. Specific objectives include: Support the development of a current set of business needs and objectives to meet the needs of the NCCCS. Support the development of a technical and functional approach for implementing a replacement or modernized ERP strategy based on industry current best business practices and lessons learned. Develop an ERP technical reference and system architecture for the System Office and the fiftyeight (58) Community Colleges. Consolidate the number of functioning systems, currently fifty-nine (59), to a smaller, more manageable, cost effective number to serve the fifty-eight (58) Community Colleges. Develop an enterprise business model to support the ERP System-wide.
