Specifications include, but are not limited to: provide a state of the art solution for the integration of Information Technology (IT)-supported administrative systems and other applications both on campus and external to UNC-Chapel Hill. This software will be used to streamline the process of establishing and maintaining integrations and enable the use of industry standard error handling and monitoring capabilities. This service will 1) Enable UNC-Chapel Hill ITS to implement the new integration software to replace existing point to point interfaces and batch 2) Position UNC-Chapel Hill’s PeopleSoft ERP applications (Campus Solutions, Human Capital and Financial Systems) to effectively serve as the core system of record for UNC-Chapel Hill person, student, financial, and human resources information (See Gartner’s Pace Layer model regarding the role of mature ERP).
