The intent of this solicitation is for Buncombe County Schools to award a contract to replace an exterior curtain wall system as designed per the attached drawings and specifications to a qualified North Carolina licensed contractor. Work shall consist of furnishing all labor, taxes, materials, equipment, services, permits, incidental and implied for the exterior curtain wall replacement system at Clyde A. Erwin High School. Project consists of the replacement of approximately 2,800 Sq. Ft. of exterior curtain wall at the existing Clyde A. Erwin High School Auditorium including the addition of concrete curbs and repair/replacement of water damaged flooring, column finishes and ceiling tile along with all associated miscellaneous work as specified in the project plans and specification. The project also includes two add/alternates consisting of similar scope to the base bid of approximately 850 Sq. Ft. for Add/Alternate #1 or #1.2 and 550 Sq. Ft. for Add/Alternate #2.
